Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Gutrack mobile application (the "App"), operated by Soren Ltd ("we", "us"). By using the App you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Gutrack is a personal gut-health tracking tool: you log meals, symptoms and related data, and the App presents your history, insights and exportable reports. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Not medical advice

The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Insights, scores and any content in the App are informational only and are derived from the data you enter. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something in the App. If you experience severe symptoms, seek immediate medical care.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time in the App.

4. Subscriptions

Certain features ("Gutrack Pro") require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account and renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Prices are shown in the App before purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App — including attempting to access other users' data, reverse-engineering the service, disrupting its operation, or using it in violation of applicable law.

6. Your data

You retain ownership of the data you log. You grant us the limited license needed to store and process it solely to provide the service. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the App available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of insights, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soren Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any health outcomes, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
